Great Saturday

Yesterday was an awesome day. A day I don’t think that either J or expected. We started off in our usual way … breakfast, gas and grabbed him some cigarettes. Then we were off to do a little gambling. We had decided that we will each spend $30. So far so good.

We went in and started with pennies. Neither of us were winning a thing. As a matter of fact we were probably donating to the cause more than hitting a winning combination. So we moved onto nickels. At this point J’s phone rang and he was multitasking … gambling and talking on the phone, a deadly combination. He had put in $20, but apparently hit a combination of keys that took his total down to under $10. Once he realized this, he was HOT!! He was almost broke and I still hadn’t spent but $10.  So at that point I gave him winnings and we moved over to the quarter machines.

Sizzling sevens to be exact. These slots machines were only one line and we could play up to three quarters. At first, I started out playing two quarters. I didn’t want to lose all of my money right away. Not really hitting a lot, so I upped it to the max, playing three quarters. Shortly I had brought my total up to $30 and at this time J had almost lost all of his money. I hit the spin button a couple more times thinking that J was getting restless and we would be moving shortly. The next thing I knew, I had hit the progressive jackpot, $300 and J had hit a combination that equaled to $58.00. Quickly, we gathered our things and left the casino!!

We decided to go out for a Mexican dinner. After dinner we went and purchased this cool cord that will allow us to play our Ipod touch in the car. It was a great Saturday!! Unfortunately, I didn’t get any schoolwork done so today I will sit here all day long doing my work. I hope that you have a great day!!
